Job Description:

Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Austin, Texas.
Discipline: RN
- Shift: 8 hours, evenings
- Employment Type: Travel

Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Perform conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring as necessary.
Prepare, implement and document plan of care. Communicate patient's condition to physician before, during and after procedures.
Perform, set up, and provide equipment and supplies before, during and after procedures.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR required professional licensure at time of hire.
Comments: The cath lab only has 1 FT RN and 2 PRNs to staff 2 labs and a hybrid OR. Without additional support, we risk diversion and lost volume. Unit Description: Level 1 Trauma Center with 2 labs and 1 hybrid OR
