Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-17:00, open to four 10-hour shifts (06:30-17:00) or five 8-hour shifts (06:30-15:00) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year in a Cath lab License: RCIS, RCES, or RT license required Certifications: BLS & ACLS certification required Must-Have: - Experience in Cath lab procedures - Ability to conduct interventional assistance Job Description: - Perform Interventional assistance in a Cath Lab - Participate in variable call shifts (1-2 shifts per week) and some weekends - Work with advanced equipment such as Philips Xper FD20 and FD10, Shockwave, and Penumbra - Utilize EMR systems such as PACS, Merge, and Meditech - Conduct typical procedures including LHC/RHC, Cardiomems, Shockwave, Penumbra, IABP pump, Impella, PFO Closure, and EKOS - Function effectively in a 1:1 patient ratio - Operate in a team environment with 3 RNs, 3 Cath Lab Techs, and 1 Charge Nurse Coordinator on day shifts - Maintain a calm demeanor under pressure - Adhere to the dress code with hospital-issued scrubs Additional Information: - Opportunity to work with new equipment and technology - Availability of permanent positions within the unit - Work with a highly experienced staff and enjoy flexible schedule options.
