Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Lead to join our Pediatric Acute Care team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for coordinating unit staffing, providing leadership, and ensuring the implementation of clinical objectives and quality patient care in assigned areas.Responsibilities

• Assign, direct, educate, and monitor nursing and support associates during assigned shifts.
• Meet with staff and exercise independent judgment to plan shifts, services, and patient care.
• Assess daily patient care needs and develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring population-appropriate patient care is given.
• Respond to complaints about patient care and manage through established channels.
• Facilitate availability of adequate materials, resources, and supplies.
• Set priorities appropriate to daily patient/physician dynamics.
• Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.Preferred Qualifications
    • Supervisor RN experience.
