Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a member of our CVICU team, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective interventions to address patient needs.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the healthcare team, providing updates on patient status and progress.
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring a smooth transition to post-acute care settings.Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing required.Preferred Qualifications
    • BSN degree.
    • BLS/PALS/ACLS certification.
    • 2 years of pediatric cardiac ICU experience.
