  • Job Requirements
  • Acute care experience, preferably med-surg
  • Flexibility with schedule
  • Preferred or nice to have: Meditech charting
  • Nursing skill set - NGT tubes, IV placement, foley management, etc.

      • Unit Information: Location: 4 East - Building: NAMC - Floor: 4th, East wing
      • Number of Beds - 32
      • Number of Staff - 50
      • Type of staff: Day Shift - (1 charge, 6 nurses, 3 PCTS), Night Shift - (1 charge, 5 nurses, 2 PCTS)
      • Patient Ratios - 1:5 or 1:6 days, 1:6 or 1:7 nights
      • Type of equipment - PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, wound vacs
      • EMR - Meditech
      • Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs/IM nailing, general surgery, Bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve), bladder sling, hysterectomy
