pediatrician to join our outstanding neonatology group in Austin,
TXResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a board-certified or
board-eligible pediatrician who has an interest in working in a
level III or IV NICU as a neonatal ICU hospitalist. Under the
supervision of our neonatologist, the neonatal ICU hospitalist
enjoys the ability to work in a higher scope without additional
training. Our dedicated neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatricians
provide excellent care to the patients of Austin, Texas, and its
surrounding areas. Our team cares for infants at our
state-of-the-art Level IV NICU at Dell Children's Medical Center, a
leading provider of pediatric care in Central Texas. We also
provide specialized care for infants requiring Level II and Level
III NICU services at our multiple Ascension Seton Hospitals.
- Clinical responsibilities include prenatal and newborn
consultations, attendance of high-risk deliveries, and
comprehensive management of neonates in the NICU and newborn
nurseries throughout our multiple hospital units.
- Scheduling includes 24-hour shifts
- Medical services include HFOV, nitric oxide, and total body
cooling
- NICU supported by strong MFM program and pediatric
sub-specialties
- Neonatologists remain in-house
- Cohesive and collegial group with very low turnover

- Partnership with UT Dell Medical School
- Rapidly expanding neonatal cardiac services
- Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) capabilities
- Network wide, data driven, interdisciplinary simulation
programPractice coverage spans multiple sites, but we are hiring a
neonatal ICU hospitalist for the below locations:
- Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas, Level IV unit,
with private rooms for neonatal surgical services, cardiac
services, advance imaging procedures, and many pediatric medical
sub-specialties
- Ascension Seton Medical Center of Austin, Level III unit, with
a brand new, state-of-the-art women and infant's tower under
