Responsibilities Ascension is currently seeking a RN Coordinator - Clinical Programs for Ascension Insurance to support Smart Health, the Ascension Employee Plan, Dell Children's Health Plan (DCHP) - Texas Medicaid plan, and Ascension Personalized Care (APC) / Affordable Care Act plans in Indiana, Michigan, Kansas, Texas and Tennessee. This position supports the Utilization Management (UM) Sr. Director and UM Director and is responsible for managing new Ascension Insurance UM Gateway porjects from the clinical perspective, assisting with policy writing to ensure compliance with the regulatory bodies and ACA regulations. You will also manage the UM reporting/analysis, staff orientation/training and development or orientation and training materials. Other responsibilities include: Develop and oversee program, making recommendations and acting as a resource for all nursing staff related to patient care and clinical standards, policies and procedures. Develop and document care plans and therapy programs. Oversee and ensure plan of care therapy program is implemented as indicated. Ensure necessary resources and/or equipment is obtained as ordered. May supervise and direct nursing staff. Coordinate, assemble, and maintain documentation as required. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
