Job Description:

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Psychiatrist working on a unique clinical trial focusing on schizophrenia in the Austin, Texas area.
This individual will play a key role in assisting in the conduct of clinical trial activities, in accordance with all applicable regulations governing the conduct of clinical trials. The primary skills include logical thinking, ability to prioritize, "can-do" attitude, the ability to adapt quickly to changing business conditions, strong interpersonal and team building skills.
Position Highlights:

  20-30 hours per week - flexible

  Will work in Austin, TX area
  
  
• 
  Bulk of the work will take place at scheduled events for the study. Some work from the office, some work remote from home.
  
  
• 
  Must have experience working with schizophrenia patients and familiar with the rating scales.
  
  
  Position Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • 
    At least one year of experience working on clinical trials as a Sub-Investigator
    
    
  • 
    Prior experience in CNS and Psychiatric Therapeutic areas
    
    
  • 
    Prior GCP training and ability to explain importance of GCP guidelines
    
    
  • 
    Ability to identify and explain key protocol elements and perform study tasks
    
    
  • 
    Understanding of basic participant safety requirements including safety reports, ICF elements and role of the IRB
    
    
  • 
    Strong interpersonal skills with attention to detail a mustDemonstrated proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software (MS Office skills such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and with clinical trial master filing systems.
