A large multispecialty independent physician group is seeking a board certified pulmonologist with fellowship training in sleep medicine to join their group in Austin, TX.Qualified Candidates:- Full-time position, joining one other pulmonologist/sleep medicine physician- Outpatient practice with some inpatient rounding/consults (minimal inpatient rounding as we have full-time hospitalists)- Phone and office coverage of partner in PUD/sleep medicine- Opportunity to develop certified sleep laboratory with hospital partner- Bronchoscopy with or without navigation is available, thoracentesis is needed- No EBUS- Specialty focus on the following: asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, chronic cough, COPD, lung cancer, infectious diseases of the lungs and sleep disordersIncentive/Benefits Package:- Competitive salary- Full benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, accidental death and dismemberment and life insurance- 401k and 401k matching- CME expense reimbursement and CME days off allowance- Malpractice coverage- PTO- Opportunity for associateship/partnershipAbout St. Davids North Austin Medical Center:- St. Davids North Austin Medical Center is a 378-bed multi-specialty, acute care facility, dedicated to the highest level of healthcare- 24-hour emergency department- The Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery- Kidney transplant program- Inpatient and outpatient surgery- The Bariatric Center- Heart and Vascular CenterAustin has earned a reputation as one of the best places to live in the nation.
