Family Medicine provider needed for this practice 90 minutes outside of Austin, Houston and San Antonio, Texas in a outpatient setting with some inpatient rounding with a very competitive compensation structure. This is a four day work week with one day off each week. You will see patients from the age of six weeks all the way up to nursing home residents. Physicians will have their own check-in nurse and their own designated patient rooms in the clinic.Hospital Employee . Competitive Annual Salary. Signing Bonus available, contact us for details. Relocation Bonus available. CME time and money available. There is one week of call per month. NP acts as Hospitalist during clinic hours. Clinic is connected to the hospital and the outpatient laboratory, emergency rooms and radiology departments are just down the hall. Each physician also has nursing home residents under their care for which physician clinic schedules are held at certain times each month so those patients can be seen. Each provider has a designated "chart nurse" who calls back all of their patients with lab results, radiology results, and corresponds all communication from the patient to the provider. Plenty of sub-specialty support is on campus. Inpatient rounding on your patients is required.
