David's HealthCare is seeking a full-time program director to
assist with the development of and lead our new Internal Medicine
residency program in Austin, TX.
Qualified Candidates:
- Must possess current certification in Internal Medicine by the
American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or by the American
Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM)
- Experience must include specialty expertise and at least three
years of documented educational and/or administrative experience,
preferably in an undergraduate and/or graduate medical education
environment
- Experience must include ongoing clinical activity
- Be willing to combine administrative and didactic (teaching)
responsibilities
- Have strong administrative and team building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Candidates with recent scholarly activity - such as peer
reviewed funding, publication of original research or review
articles in peer-reviewed journals, chapters in textbooks,
publication or presentation of case reports or clinical series at
scientific society meetings, or participation in national
committees or educational organizations - are highly encouraged to
apply
