We Are Hiring: RN Multi-Specialty Clinic
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, no weekends, no holidays
Location: Health Transformation Building, next to Dell Seton Medical Center (Downtown Austin)
Specialties: Oncology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Gynecology Oncology Surgical Oncology, Pulmonology, Palliative Care, Psychiatry

What You Will Do: As an RN with our Multi-specialty clini c you will work as a flow nurse, flowing over the multiple specialties of care. Our clinic offers care in the following areas: Oncology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Gynecology Oncology Surgical Oncology, Pulmonology, Palliative Care and Psychiatry. You will be responsible for assessments, helping with consent, education and procedures. What sets our role apart is our clinic serves all the underserved and under insured we are able to care for patients who do not have resources elsewhere. Our patients have a lot of chronic illnesses, and are critical we are looking for someone who is patient and empathic. We work in a very busy and fast pace clinic and we are looking for someone with strong critical thinking skills and able to work across multiple specialties with multiple physicians. We are a close-knit team and connected by our mission and what we do.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesse and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing. Education:
      • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed. Experience:
        • 1 year of RN experience preferred
        • Clinic or inpatient experience a plus
