We Are Hiring Cardaic MRI TechDell Children's Medical Center, Austin TXFull Time Hours: Monday-Friday* Up to $7,500 Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates * -====================================================THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION ARE...A Radiology license through the ARRT + (MR) Registry -A Texas Medical Board licenseHigh school diploma or GED with 2 years of exerience, or Associate's Degree, or Technical DegreeExperience with -MRI cardiac examsA BLS credential through the American Heart AssociationA positive, team-oriented attitude====================================================IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL...Prepare and position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately to produce cross-sectional images of the body.Perform patient pre-screening, scheduling, and education related to the examination. -Enter and monitor patient data, transfers images from disk to magnetic media to produce the transparency, and develops film in an automatic processor. -Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.Ensure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Reports potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel.Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.====================================================WHO ARE WE?Dell Children's is the only Pediatric Level I Trauma Center in Central Texas and one of only five in all of Texas.
