Director of EUC Lifecycle Strategy and Product Management - Austin, TXWe are looking for an extraordinary individual to direct an outstanding team of enterprise solutions product managers to drive End User Computing Lifecycle solutions for organizations of all sizes, worldwide. The EUC Lifecycle Director position within the Commercial Product Group at Dell Inc. will be the "CEO" of a high-energy, new team within Dell functioning in "scrappy" start-up mode, but founded on a solid team of leaders, engineers, and team members who have successfully launched and sold enterprise solutions at Dell for years. And we'd like your help!The candidate is responsible for partnering with product leaders, business leaders, technology leaders, and other stakeholders to lead and champion the development of new and evolution of existing solutions that delight clients, meet strategic and financial business objectives, and to thrive and win in the market over time. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of people leadership skills, strategic thinking skills, diverse communication skills, project planning skills, and project execution skills. The individual will not only lead the Product Managers that support existing products but also be responsible for the innovation and growth of EUC Lifecycle Solutions. This person will partner with the Engineering, Product, and Business Leaders to identify and implement process improvements to enhance our product suite, and they will work closely with the key business stakeholders to identify ways to improve our product lifecycle management. The candidate will also develop and maintain relationships with our clients to better understand their needs and pain points in addition to other competitors in the marketplace.Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To)

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of solutions within the EUC Lifecycle portfolio.
  • Translate vision into a product roadmap that balances market needs with internal resources that provide the company's solutions with unique competitive advantages
  • Work with the Executive Team to identify and prioritize new solution initiatives on a quarterly and yearly basis
  • Provide regular updates to the executive teams, and select clients on the current and future objectives for Roadmap
  • Establish strong relationships with a key group of our Clients to foster ongoing, two-way communication on current solution features and future solution concepts
  • Champion continuous process improvements within the Product, User Experience, and Engineering teams to both grow and develop team members and to drive greater efficiencies in the product delivery pipeline
  • Manage, provide ongoing mentoring and oversight for the Product Managers
  • Oversee the definition, design, development, and launch of new solutions and enhancements
  • Partner with technology and business leaders to ensure the Product Roadmap supports business objectives
  • Work directly with Sales, Services, Product Marketing, Operations and Client Support to maintain a solid understanding of both the competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Serve as the champion for solution initiatives to the portfolio team, delivery stream, release trains and other roles from User Experience, Product Managers, Engineers, and Scrum Masters
  • Oversee definition of offerings (go to market, financial models, and pricing)
  • Work with Product Marketing to define messaging, target market, approach
  • Partner with GTM teams to define GTM strategy for offerings and be an active partner to ensure success of strategy to achieve targets.
  • Achieve revenue and margin objectives with measurable sales impact, client differentiation and customer and stakeholder reception.Qualifications
    • 10+ years of experience in a Product Management or Product Development role
    • 10+ years of leading product development teams using multiple methodologies
    • 10+ years of experience directly managing and leading of at least 8 product managers
    • 5+ years of experience working in an Agile development environment
    • Hiring expertise with a proven track record of hiring stellar enterprise solutions product managers
    • Superb at coaching team members, driving them to excel in their roles
    • Product management experience with SaaS, cloud, subscription-based enterprise software
    • Proven as an individual contributor enterprise software/solutions product manager
    • Experience product managing solutions that include SaaS Software, professional services, and managed services offerings
    • Security experience and expertise (especially in the areas of data, identity, authentication, cloud, etc.)
    • Beyond exceptional presentation skills (creating and delivering)
    • Executive presence able to present comfortable to senior execs at Dell and at key customers
    • Ability to develop, define, keep updated, and convince others on team and cross-org/execs of your portfolio product strategy.
    • Someone who loves working in start-up mode (go fast and fail fast), while also being happy in a big corporate environment (albeit a great environment to work in, one without a lot of politics)
    • Proven experience in product management of enterprise class solutions sold that generate at least $1B in annual revenue
    • Super positive and optimistic. High energy. Inspirational. Natural-born leader.
    • Excellent communication skills. Ability to articulate ideas very well.
    • Able to partner closely with and lead teams across multiple organizations including engineering, experience design, marketing, sales, procurement, operations, etc.
    • People-person great at forging relationships
    • Exceptional problem solving capabilities
    • Able to put a business lens on new ideas to determine quickly if they have a change at generating significant revenue
    • Technically savvy, able to understand software engineering discussions and up-level them for non-software executives and customers
    • Great at forging and maintaining relationships with customers to garner feedback
    • Ability to negotiate contracts with partners
    • Ability to build and drive plan to take software/solutions business from no revenue to $1b in short order
    • Super responsible, self-starter, independent, reliable, consistent...
    • Pragmatic Marketing training a plus
    • Coding experience a plus
    • MBA a plus
    • Sales experience in enterprise software/solutions sales a plus
    • Up to 25% travel may be required
