The Manager, Customer Service and Administration position is responsible for overall front office activities, including the reception area, mail, office administration and payroll oversight. Also responsible for directing and coordinating office services and related activities, including developing and supervising programs for the maximum utilization of services. The Manager, Customer Service and Administration will be responsible for providing management and oversight of quality assurance and customer service. This position is located at our office in Austin, TX. Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR to maintain office policies as necessary
  • Coordinate and assist with all new hire onboarding
  • Organize office operations and procedures
  • Coordinate with IT department on all office equipment
  • Provide oversight of payroll processing is completed in a timely manner as required by Ride Right payroll guidelines and regulatory compliance
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Responsible for managing office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized, correspondences are controlled, filing systems are designed, supply requisitions are reviewed and approved and that clerical functions are properly assigned and monitored
  • Establish a historical reference for the office by outlining procedures for protection, retention, record disposal, retrieval and staff transfers
  • Responsible for developing and implementing office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office
  • Allocate tasks and assignments to subordinates and monitor their performance
  • Perform review and analysis of special projects and keep the management properly informed
  • Ensure top performance of office staff by providing them adequate coaching and guidance
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Allocate available resources to enable successful task performance
  • Evaluate and manage staff performance
  • Assist with staff recruiting
  • Organize orientation and training of new staff members
  • Coach, mentor and discipline office staff
  • Design and implement filing systems
  • Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
  • Ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of data
  • Oversee adherence to office policies and procedures
  • Prepare operational reports and schedules to ensure efficiency
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment--- Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field preferred
    • Five years of previous experience in office management required
    • Proven office management, administrative or assistant experience
    • Proficient in MS Office
    • Must have a valid drivers license
    • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future--- Competency Based Qualifications:

      • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong organizational and planning skills
      • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
      • Knowledge of accounting, data and administrative management practices and procedures
      • Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
      • Knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
      • Knowledge of business and management principles
