Job Description:

The Senior Vice President, Human Resources (SVPHR) will lead all aspects of Human Resources for Company in a dynamic, high growth environment. The SVPHR will operate as part of the HID executive team to provide leadership and execution in HR strategy, programs, policy and practice to support the company’s business plans and objectives and will also be a member of the ASSA ABLOY global HR Council.

Through a team of 9 direct reports and a total of 35 staff globally, the SVPHR will develop and deliver effective solutions for talent acquisition and management, total rewards, management development, automation of people related processes, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, learning and succession planning. Key to success in this role will be developing an understanding of HID’s business, growth strategy, culture and the evolution of the company and translating that knowledge into practical HR solutions that position the organization for future success. Responsibilities As a member of the senior leadership team, work closely with the CEO, functional and business unit leaders to determine, develop and execute global human resource strategies that effectively support overall business strategies. Proactively lead the development of HR policies, processes, programs, and practices that support the continued evolution of the business and create a work environment in which employees can thrive and contribute to organizational success. Serve as an advisor to senior leadership team by providing insight, coaching and HR related solutions to functional and business unit leaders in the effective management and development of their people and their organizations. Provide leadership and guidance to the global HR team. Continually assess and determine optimal HR organization structure for supporting the evolving business. Enhance functional competence and business acumen of the team. Coach & mentor HR team members and foster a continuous learning environment. Oversee HR related global M&A activities including due diligence and acquisition integration. Build organizational bench strength by ensuring business wide commitment to the talent management & succession planning process and developing learning & development programs to address organizational needs. Develop and execute on strategies to position HID as an employer of choice. Collaborate with Communications department to enhance our employer brand. Ensure a relevant, competitive total rewards offering that enables the company to attract and retain top talent. As a member of the ASSA ABLOY global HR Council, participate in and/or lead ASSA ABLOY wide HR initiatives. Ensure roll out and success of ASSA ABLOY organizational programs. Continually improve the quality and efficiency of global HR processes through standardization, simplification and automation. Drive HR operational excellence through data analysis and metrics; seek improvements through technology-based solutions. Drive progress on the HR KPI’s and key organizational measures including employee engagement, diversity and internal mobility. Ensure organizational understanding of and adherence to all ASSA ABLOY ethics and compliance standards, and all local and regional employment regulations. Manage HR budget, report monthly on budget performance for the HR function; oversee forecasting activity for global headcount across all functions and business units. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences or equivalent), MBA preferred. 10+ years experience in a senior HR leadership role with significant management responsibility. Additional experience outside of HR in an operational or other management role considered a plus. Technology company background preferred. Experience managing diverse teams of HR professionals and managers in multiple locations Experience managing in a global environment, preferably at the Division level with a multi-national company Experience working directly with senior business leaders with the ability to influence Ability to travel both domestically and internationally 25% of the time Position is based in Austin
