Position Details:
NICU Director- Austin, TX
Location : Austin, TX
Project Duration : Full time permanent role

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or other approved education plan required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
• Master's Degree preferred
• Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
• L&D: NRP preferred/ FHM preferred/ RNC-OB preferred
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare required
• 1+ year of experience in leadership role required Additional information:
  • Number of beds: 99 oversight
  • Level 3 NICU
  • FTE (total in unit/ direct): 150 with 2 Managers
  • Types of patients (adult/peds): Peds
  • Current Nurse to nurse-to-patient ratio: 2 or 3 to 1 patient
  • Unit volume-: daily census 75
  • Shift- specify your expectations on hours: M-F, standard leadership shift
  • Staff shifts: 12-hour shifts
  • Call required: (Y/N) rotates call with 2 managers
  • Bonus eligible
  • Relocation eligible
