Description JOB PURPOSE:
The Employment Services Case Manager will identify and develop
optimal employment opportunities for vulnerable individuals, while
providing support to clients and empowering them to obtain and
maintain employment.
Qualifications ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Internal Responsibilities:
Develops employment placements and opportunities for individuals on
caseload in a timely manner. Meets annual job placement quota.
Prepares extensive written benchmark reports by required
timelines.
Communicate with Program Manager status of job development for each
person on caseload weekly and reach out to same when met with
obstacles to meet job placement goal.
Accurate and timely submission of necessary VR documents to TWC for
services completed and invoicing along with all required
supplemental documentation.
Actively markets Job Supportive Services to employers in order to
secure sites for job placement of our TWC customers. This includes
attending conferences, meetings, trade events, hiring fairs,
etc.
Communicate with Program Manager any and all service delivery
issues
Communicate with Program Manager any and all requests for
services.
Client Responsibilities:
Coordinates with the individual, their employer, family support,
case managers, and Texas Workforce Commission - Vocational
Rehabilitation Counselors as needed.
Provide client progress updates to case managers and program
manager as assigned.
Document phone calls, emails and time spent with individuals we
serve and their families in Bird'sEye CMS software system
Provide individualized support to match each client to an
appropriate job based on job interest/skills. Working with VR
counsellors and individuals to ensure clients are given
personalized service to meet individual needs.
Provide services to include: Bundled and Non-Bundled Job Placement
Services, Job Coaching, and Vocational Adjustment Training per
TWC-VRS requirements, including resume, job references, interview
job search, pre-employment, job acceptance, employment data sheet,
and job application training.
Job Coaching for client as designated by TWS-VR.
Vocational Adjustment Training (VAT) for client as designated by
TWS-VR.
Conduct job readiness training for client receiving services from
Endeavors programs in accordance with specific grant
requirements.
Conduct life skills training sessions for clients receiving
services from Endeavors programs in accordance with specific grant
requirements.
Employer Client Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains relationships with employers within the
community to increase the potential employer network.
Responsible for explaining our services including on the job
supports, training supports, job coaching and benchmark paperwork
to potential employers.
Responsible for following up with existing employer contacts and
potential new employers to determine their hiring needs.
Meets with targeted employers to identify employment opportunities
within the community.
Where needed, negotiates with employers to customize job
responsibilities for the client that are consistent with the
client's abilities and address unmet needs of employers.
Works with and advocates for appropriate accommodations for JSS
clients. This includes educating not only JSS clients but also
employers on scheduling needs, disability awareness, and
accommodations.
Misc. Responsibilities:
Uses excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem
solving skills and effective time management skills.
Travel from job site to job site on a daily basis depending on
caseload.
Additional job duties as assigned by Program Manager.
Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences,
psychology, disability services, or related field from an
accredited college or university.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 1 year of experience relevant to the
position and 1 year of experience working with individuals with
disabilities required.
ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such
level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.
LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.
VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations
and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken language skills).
Knowledge of community resources and ability to connect families to
community services preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Must be available to work evenings and weekends occasionally.
Must be able to work independently.
