Essential Functions:
The Role

Responsibilities-
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the
Director of Spa to create and maintain a work environment that
supports, encourages and anticipates the needs of the guest and
colleague experience. This is done effectively by contributing to
an environment of authenticity, sincerity, warmth and fun, while
balancing protocol, accountability and care.
The Assistant Director of Spa is responsible for the day-to-day
operation of the spa, including but not limited to working
alongside our 80 colleague team of spa concierge, spa attendants,
and spa service providers. The Assistant Director of Spa oversees
the operation with a high level of focus and care placed on
ensuring the guests' expectations are met and that we are meeting
our established high standard of service.

Qualifications:
--- Excellence in the successful management of the guest
experiences
--- Exceptional skills in leading a large spa operations team and
retail operation, by maintaining a positive, energetic working
environment and sustaining high morale and productivity levels
--- Experience in achieving retail sales to service goals, revenue
goals and driving revenue per treatment goals
--- Technologically proficient with an exceptional ability to
perform complex administrative tasks using the Microsoft Office
suite of products (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint), as well as
our Property Management Systems and booking software
--- Experience in managing the spa to achieve and exceed budgets,
scheduling for efficiency managing expenses for maximum profit
--- Involvement in the successful completion and accounting of
payroll including scheduling, managing time edits, commissions, and
benefit pay
--- Knowledge and experience in hiring and retaining top talent.
Interviewing talent at all levels of the operation, training,
administering check-in conversation, supporting growth
opportunities and advancement. Coaching and counselling corrective
behavior for accountability, consistency while being collaborative,
supportive and nurturing.
--- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills.
Must be results driven, goal oriented and able to meet
deadlines
--- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule including
nights, weekends and holidays
--- 2 years of experience working in a role titled as a Spa
Manager, Assistant Spa Director or Spa Director - preferably in a
Resort Spa setting
--- Excellent written and oral communication skills including
speaking/presenting to large groups of people, senior leadership,
small group settings and one on one
--- Capability to multi-task and prioritize items in a fast paced
work environment
--- Ability to be very active throughout the day, by standing,
walking, bending, and stooping. Frequently exert up to 25 pounds of
force to lift, carry, push, and pull or otherwise move objects
