Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Director of Business Change Management. The right candidate will lead the Business Change Management department to coordinate and facilitate the implementation of recent technology, efficiency initiatives, as well as required changes from regulatory authorities, investors and company policies. Collaborate with other DHIM departments, including but not limited to IT, Production, Underwriting, Closing, Quality Control, Investor Relations, Compliance, Secondary Marketing and Training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for the direction, coordination and evaluation of the department in accordance with the DHI policies and applicable laws
• Develop and maintain methodology, planning, and communication required to achieve department goals
• Work with DHI departments to identify business processes, changes and/or new developments in software applications, investor guidelines or other business requirements
• Collaborate with production teams, operational managers, senior management and IT professionals to:
  • Ensure projects are properly defined, including all impacted departments
  • Deliver expected efficiency gains, revenue enhancements, increased customer service levels, and/or strategic advantages
  • Successful UAT prior to approval of project
  • Determine method of training, updated policies/procedures and associated job aid
  • Measure adoption and success post-implementation
  • For projects that include a pilot, work with IT Project Management and applicable business units to plan, manage feedback, communicate progress and determine readiness for national roll-out
  • Oversee prioritization, scheduling, reporting, and user acceptance testing (UAT) of new or revised policies and software changes prior to implementation
  • Participate in the prioritization for department lead Business Unit Leader meetings
  • Oversee the plans and activities of the Change Management department with that of other teams/groups within DHI and D.R. Horton to optimize working relationships and communications
  • Deliver progress reports to the team members, senior leadership and project stakeholders
  • Consult with outside consultants or do research with outside vendors to help solve business needs
  • Perform hands-on research, analysis, and design activities
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to travel overnight Supervisory Responsibilities
    • Supervises 2 or more employees
