Position Overview:
The Vice President of Inside Sales will lead a dynamic, motivated
sales team to step function growth in the enormous addressable
market of custom printed products. Our Inside Sales team targets
and serves small-to-medium businesses where the relationship is
best optimized through a custom eCommerce storefront and dedicated
salesperson rather than self-served through one of our online
brands. The VP of Inside Sales will lead the team to acquire new
accounts that fit this profile while strategically growing our
existing customer base. This individual can also balance strategic
agility, business acumen, and sales skills to identify
opportunities in the market and target the ones that will drive
success.
Desired Outcomes:
*Consistent revenue and profit growth of the Enterprise Sales
team
*Refine and execute a scalable strategy for enterprise account
acquisition and customer retention
*Optimize leads generated by our online brands and proactive
outbound sales efforts that may include account research, cold
calling, and email marketing to grow our enterprise account set
*Collaborate with other cross-functional departments to ensure a
best in class customer experience
*Continuously evaluate roles, responsibilities, and compensation
plans to motivate the sales team to hit and exceed sales
objectives
*Train and grow the current sales team, enabling the department to
take sales to the next level
To be successful in this role one must demonstrate:
*Enthusiasm for sales leadership and a player-coach style
*Ability to effectively motivate and rally the sales team to hit
and exceed sales objectives
*Exceptional sales skills including relationship management,
influence, negotiation, closing
*Proactive, hunter approach to growing sales
*Proven expertise leveraging eCommerce sales channels and
evaluating and maximizing revenue from various customer types and
industry verticals
*Sales experience in B2B and B2C environments, ideally with an
on-site manufactured product
*Team player who works well with others
*Ability to handle competing priorities and work under tight
deadlines
*A genuine enthusiasm for the company's values
Qualifications:
*10+ years of sales experience
*5+ years of management experience
*Proven success creating and optimizing a sales infrastructure and
strategy
*Strong analytical skills; expert in sales metrics and KPIs
*Strong ability to track and identify market and customer
trends
*Sales with B2B and B2C channels
*Experience with managing data for strategic targeting
*Knowledge and strategic experience with eCommerce platforms and
Salesforce
*Experience in sales for in-house manufactured products a plus
*Ability to travel 10%
*This position is remote-first in Austin, TX and will need to come
onsite once per week
