We are currently looking for a Sales Operations Director. This
position will allow the successful candidate to commute to a local
office, or a remote schedule based on the candidate's location.

As a key member of the BU leadership team, this individual will
help build and execute the sales strategy needed to exceed the
annual plan focused on the following key priorities:
- Provide data-driven tactical and strategic insights and
recommendations focused on global sales strategy and execution
- Develop KPI dashboards focused on sales performance, and pipeline
management, along with other leading indicators of future business
performance
- Develop and execute on the sales territory coverage plan- Partner
tightly with finance team on quota setting strategy and
structure
The Sales Operations Director will have a track record of building
relationships and working closely with cross-functional teams,
including Finance, Sales (including renewals), Services, IT, and
Operations. The ideal candidate is a passionate, collaborative, and
results-oriented leader capable of inspiring and building
cross-functional high-performing teams to effectively drive change
while achieving established goals.
Responsibilities
-Directs the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic
and end-to-end operational objectives of the company and the
Business Unit (BU)
-Leads the Business Unit forecasting process - partnering with the
sales leadership team on ensuring the pipeline is a clear
representation of the business and helping the sales leadership
team apply judgment as necessary
-Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of
quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales
organization's planning and execution efforts
-Provides support for all operational reporting (including QBR's
and ad hoc requests) for the Business Unit
-Serves as a key member of the BU senior leadership team,
contributing to BU GTM strategy, operational excellence, and change
initiatives
-Is the operational voice of the BU for global initiatives, and may
lead Quest-wide projects
-Is seen as a thought leader for critical business decisions and
long-term initiatives in support of enabling sales and the selling
process for BU sales teams, partners and customers.
-Leads go-to-market strategic projects to enable sales
-Focuses on influencing and delivering a positive customer
experience
-Improves sales processes, operational effectiveness and sales
productivity.
-Provides leadership and direction to and through all levels of
leaders in support of BU's selling activities.
-Leads merger and acquisition integration efforts in support of
sales teams and sales-related activities
-Interacts with cross-functional groups to solve business and
customer issues
-Communicates regularly and effectively with leadership and
team
-Manages the hiring, staffing, training, and maintaining of a
diverse and effective workforce
-Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay
discussions of team members
-Builds long-term development and succession plans and nurtures
talent
-Establishes an environment that promotes diligence, excellence,
communications, teamwork, sense of urgency and efficiency in
meeting the operational needs of the business, and is aligned with
Quest's Purpose, Vision and Values
Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
-8+ years relevant experience desired in the enterprise technology
industry, in software
-Strong leadership & people management skills; proven ability to
develop key talent
-Ability to quickly adapt in a changing environment, flexible and
open-minded
-Experience working in dynamic multi-country and cross-cultural
environments
-Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
-Ability to engage and present to executives both within Quest and
with partners
-Strong organizational and relationship building skills
-Demonstrated analytical and project management skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to effectively present information in a variety of
delivery formats
-Collaborates well with key internal and external stakeholders
-Diagnose and resolve issues quickly
-Ability to organize and prioritize multiple ongoing projects
-Able to work with minimal direction while solving complex problems
in creative ways
-Proactive team leader who advocates change
-Demonstrated alignment with Quest's purpose, vision and values
-Available for global travel (25%).
