Ultra I&C has an exciting opportunity for a Director of Human
Resources. The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for
execution of all HR programs and activities for the C2I Business
Unit. The Director will report to the President of the C2I Business
Unit and take strategic direction from the Chief Human Resources
Officer.
This position will be based in Austin, TX.Scope:The Director of
Human Resources will be responsible for managing an organization of
250+ employees in the US and UK for the C2I Business Unit.Key
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with senior leaders, managers, and HR leadership
in areas of organizational strategy, talent management,
compensation planning, performance management, recruitment, and
employee engagement and retention.
- Act as primary liaison for Employee Relations to remedy
employee issues, investigate and resolve workplace concerns and
work with legal counsel when necessary.
- Responsible for HR strategy and budget including creation,
presentation to executive management, and execution upon
approval.
- Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local legal
requirements for existing and new legislation, enforce adherence,
and advise management to ensure company compliance.
- Provide training and development required to support HR and the
business strategy.
- Manage HR data and ensure availability for federal and state
reports, executive management teams, and corporate reporting.
- Be proactive with the recruiting process and understand the
competition for staffing in all areas and locations and work with
HR leaders to create competitive and strategic recruiting
techniques.
- Manages a small team HR and Talent Acquisition staff.Required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in an HR leadership role,
managing direct reports.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% annually to domestic and
international sites.
- Ability to obtain a US Government Security Clearance.
Clearances are granted to US Citizens.Desired Skills &
Qualifications:
- SPHR/PHR and/or SHRM-SCP/PC certification or willingness to
obtain within one (1) year of hire.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience managing employee
relations including investigations. Understanding of employee
relations laws in other states throughout the US
- Willing to quickly develop strong relationships and earn the
trust of the internal teams.
- Possess strong coaching skills with the ability to coach all
levels within the organization.
- Strong analytical skills regarding HR data interpretation and
presentation
- Solid knowledge of employee engagement, employment law,
performance management, recruiting, compensation, benefits, and
wellness programs required.
- Strong presentation and group facilitation skills are
required.
- Strong computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and HRIS
systems are required; knowledge of Workday is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication
