Work Location:

  • Fully Remote - U.S.Position: The Director, Business Development and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for the identification, execution, and support of key partnerships for the Decision Support Business.In this role, you will evaluate and manage strategic business opportunities, initiatives, partnerships, alliances, and other strategic ventures in a matrixed environment. Successful candidates will have the ability to oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity and proactively identify customer needs to define vision, strategy, and tactics by working with sales, account management, product management and marketing teams. You will provide leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence, and implementation of strategic business objectives for partnerships spanning the EMR, utilization management, and care management segments for both payer and provider customers. Core Responsibilities:
    • Establishes operational objectives aligned with business strategy, defines work plans and delegates assignments as needed to accomplish goals
    • Works on efforts where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives and industry requirements. Implements strategies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
    • Involved in developing, modifying, and executing company initiatives that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect.
    • Exercises judgement in terms of revenue, costs, methods, and staffing.
    • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements internally and with partners.
    • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels within the organization and with partners.
    • Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.Requirements:
    • 8+ years of business development, account management, or channel partner management, or a similar role managing partner relationships
    • Broad knowledge of medical management, prior authorization, and utilization management with proven leadership skills.
    • Bachelors Degree required
    • Experience negotiating contracts
    • Experience managing SaaS based API partnerships
    • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Self-starter with a growth-oriented mindsetPreferred Qualifications:
    • Experience working for a healthcare technology company that provides utilization management, prior authorization, medical management, or clinical decision support desiredWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:
