About this role: We are seeking a Director of Product Management who will own Enphase products within the Consumer Business Unit. At the highest level, you will be responsible for strategy, development and maintenance of Consumer Business Unit product roadmaps and ensuring coherency and alignment between various other products in the business unit as well as other business units within company (Microinverter Business Unit, Digital Transformation Business Unit and Storage Business Unit). The role will also work closely with VPs of Engineering, Directors of Product Marketing, and all other corporate functions, CPO, CTO, CMO, Program Management Office (PMO), product roadmap and supporting it through its lifetime to ensure highest quality, best customer experience and gross and profit margins that are aligned with corporate targets. Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Consumer Business Unit (CBU) leadership team
  • Lead global development and management of one or more CBU product line
  • Own 5-year sales and profitability projections and associated strategies
  • Define and drive requirements resulting in a superior user experience for CBU products
  • New product introduction (NPI)
  • In-depth understanding of market needs and future trends for portable energy products
  • Full understanding of technical and user requirements to serve the target market
  • Ability to lead the product team to document, specify and communicate requirements to be absorbed and executed by all functional groups within the company, including but not limited to, engineering, quality, operation and finance
  • Lead Go-to-Market campaign(s) in close collaboration with product marketing, corporate marketing, engineering and PMO
  • A global focus to expand our products into all target geographies (North America, EMEA, APAC, Rest-of-the-World)
  • Work with the marketing organization to create customer facing messaging, collateral, and documentation to support GTM marketing and sales activities
  • Participate in and track the product development process ensuring agile product development and responsiveness to evolving market needs
  • Conduct competitive assessments. Be an expert and track emerging market trends and standards that will shape our market and impact our customers Requirements:
    • Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering (Electrical Engineering (EE) or Computer Science (CS) are preferred)
    • 8+ years of relevant experience in product management and engineering in consumer electronics or relevant technology industries
    • Track record of building and leading global product and engineering organizations to enable successful execution
    • Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between marketing and technical teams to drive understanding and efficient development of products that meet our customers' needs
    • Demonstrated success driving tangible impact / influencing within a broader organization to create high performing system solutions
    • Highly collaborative, team oriented, and comfortable leading cross-functional teams
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible to change
