National Account Manager - Remote

Position Summary
This person will be highly relational, a good listener, and strong communicator in order to be a consultative seller. -This person will be a persistent closer but see themselves as a partner to their assigned accounts in order to solve their problems and grow PacMoore's sales. -The ideal candidate has 3-5 years relevant experience, a college degree, and can produce results. -Food industry experience a plus.Responsibilities

  • Deliver account growth goals and assist in delivering the total sales plan
  • Establish and maintain relationships with assigned accounts through consistent contact - gain face to face appointments as often as possible
  • Diligently question to uncover incremental project needs that not only match PacMoore capabilities but are realistic and likely profitable
  • Gain access to other key decision makers within each customer's organization and follow up with them for incremental business opportunities
  • Respond to inquiries, needs, and complaints from assigned accounts in an enthusiastic and timely -manner
  • Understand account's customers to better assist in meeting their needs
  • Sell PacMoore features and benefits that matter to each individual customer
  • Finalize and present quotes ensuring they are competitive but within profit guidelines
  • Persistently follow up to clarify interest, re-sell, and establish next steps
  • Utilize the marketing plan and presentations to sell
  • Pass qualified projects to New Project Coordinator and ensure a smooth handoff
  • Occasionally attend trade shows and relevant networking events
  • Join online social networks and trade associations to establish connections
  • Attend sales training and read industry periodicals to monitor news, trends, etc.Qualifications:
  • COMMUNICATE - Able to quickly communicate the major capabilities, features and benefits, and competitive advantage of PacMoore. -Show concern for personal needs of our customers. -Excellent questioning and listening skills. -Excellent verbal and written skills. -Ability to document and communicate project details in a highly accurate manner.
  • KNOWLEDGE - Excellent understanding of PacMoore capabilities and operations. -Ability to - - - - - -sell projects that have both short and long sales cycles. -
  • ANALYTICAL - Able to review and understand quotes in order to ensure they are competitive yet within profit guidelines
  • TEMPERMENT - Persistent but - - - - - -possessing an ability to form solid, trusting relationships with customers. -Clear desire to help assigned customers meet their needs and objectives. -Discreet with confidential company information. -Highly motivated. -Competitive, confident, and optimistic. -Sees excellence as a standard. - -Ability to work on multiple projects under tight timelines. -Alignment with company vision and values.
  • TIME MANAGEMENT - Organized and detail oriented. -Prepare a schedule of priorities for each day but be prepared to adjust as the business dictates. -Understand how long each task should take to effectively complete it. -Eliminate, delegate, or delay non-essential tasks as part of prioritizing.
  • COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE - Solid understanding of Microsoft Office - software such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerpointRequirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years sales experience; food industry experience a strong plus
  • Demonstrated history of sales success in at least 1 previous role
  • Well-versed in the practice of consultative selling
