Regional Manager, Facilities

Job Summary

Our RFMs oversee large Corporate Real Estate portfolios for one of JLL's biggest and most dynamic clients. They lead our teams to ensure the top-quality delivery of Facility Management Operations while also providing peer support to many other functions of our business, including Project Management, Occupancy Planning, Moves and a range of specialist programs. They own their relationships with client leaders, providing Integrated Facility Management (IFM) thought leadership, innovation, best practices, financial planning, trend analysis and everything it takes to make our service delivery better over time. They are responsible for meeting all contract deliverables in their geographical area, including operational up time, cost savings, energy consumption reduction initiatives, and service improvements. Above all, they mobilize a diverse team of FM staff to create services and environments in which our client's employees can be totally productive.

Job Responsibilities

Relationship Management

  • Single point of JLL contact for your two-in-a-box client counterpart, enabling them to access all JLL services, and accountable for the relationship
  • Maintain high client, customer, and user satisfaction with services provided, measured through KPIs and satisfaction surveys
  • Ensure effective integration of all JLL services across all sites to ensure seamless delivery to the client and drive a one-team mentality
  • Interface and develop relationships with peers in the Americas and other regions to ensure consistent delivery of global initiatives and practices
  • Assure local strategies are aligned with our client's broader strategic goals for the workplace
  • Partner with on-account, other JLL and client experts to ensure consistent deployment of programs and initiatives across a geography
    Financial Management
    • Collate and manage Area-level operating budgets, tracking Operating Expenses, and providing input to Capital Expenditure planning
    • Coordinate site teams to think frugally, drive savings initiatives and keep savings tracker updated with all proper documentation
    • Activate energy savings and maintain accurate consumption data
    • Understand JLL's total service offering and identify opportunities to introduce new products or solutions
      People Management
      • Hire, coach and develop a diverse, cross-functional team, ensuring everyone is included and can achieve their full potential at JLL
      • Maintain succession plans composed of internal and external talent, so that our team grows stronger through time
      • Build a culture of excellence in people management so that every employee receives the leadership input they need and rigorous standards of fairness are applied
        Operational Management
        • Achieve contractual requirements and account annual goals including but not limited to work order management metrics and all contractual KPI goals
        • Partner with experts to deliver energy reduction and sustainability programs.
        • Develop specialty interests / expertise and lead initiatives across the Americas portfolio, supporting RFM peers
        • Maximize the use of technology systems to create efficiency and enable insight
        • Produce and present a Monthly Business Review encapsulating performance against scope and expectations, and highlighting risks and opportunities
        • Ensure compliance to all statutes and standards, minimizing risk to JLL and client employees
          Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
          • 10+ years Facility Management experience, ideally in a CRE setting
          • Travel required, approximately 20-30% depending on client or account requirements
          • Experience with managing large, dispersed teams
          • Proficiency in people management and development
          • Prior experience with CMMS systems, Corrigo an advantage
          • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
          • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
          • Executive presence
          • Ability to extrapolate intelligence from data
