is currently looking for a Nutrient Removal and Recovery Product
Manager to join our team in the Biosolids Management and Resources
Recovery Group. Why you should join the Ovivo team:This important
position is responsible for the product planning and execution
throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and
prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the
product vision, and working closely with engineering, marketing,
and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are
met. The Product Manager's job also includes ensuring that the
product supports the company's overall strategy and goals.You will
use your expertise to:
- Work within a cross-functional team environment with Process
and Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, and Sales
Representatives to achieve sales objectives and acceptable profit
margins. (relative to mixing systems, gas holders, and other
mechanical and process equipment relating to biological
processes)
- Provide recommendations on product application and sizing,
specifications, specification reviews, general arrangement
drawings, pricing, and other sales aid materials as required to
support customer needs.
- Provide designs and support for anaerobic digestion systems to
customers
- Provide direct Sales Representative support in such activities
as specification review, customer presentations, product
application and sizing, process start-up, and technical training.
Become a recognized product expert in the field.
- Evaluate market trends and recommend promotional sales support
activities and strategies to win projects.
- Define product improvements and standardizations, and regularly
recommend new product development in line with company
objectives
- Review complex and conflicting industry-standard technical
documents and make recommendations.We would like to review your
application if you have the following Minimum Qualifications
- B.S. degree in one of the engineering disciplines is required,
Biological emphasis strongly preferred.
- M.S degree in Environmental Engineering preferred
- A minimum of three (3) years experience designing or selling
biological wastewater treatment systems using industry-standard
tools and models is preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex
industry-related documents;
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and
complaints;
- Ability to understand English at advanced level via written and
verbal communication;
- Must be able to communicate on a technical level and make
formal presentations;
- Must have demonstrated interpersonal and customer relations
skills.
- Must be comfortable with uncertainty and unknowns.Where you
will be working, your work schedule, and other important
information:
- You will report to the Product Group Manager in our Austin, TX
office.
- The base hours of work are a regular 40-hour workweek, Monday
to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on the
business needs.
- This position will require travel up to 50% of the time
including travel to engineering firms and wastewater treatment
plants.
