Regional Sales Manager

(Austin, TX - Full-Time )

We are looking for a highly motivated, proactive leader to drive sales growth and achieve revenue objectives for Firmspaces professional workplace model. As Regional Sales Manager at Firmspace, you will be responsible for managing our sales staff in certain territories as well as assisting in the development and execution of a sales growth strategy. This includes ensuring consistent generation of new business and profitable sales revenue growth through positive planning, deployment and management of personnel. You will be expected to recommend objectives and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales performance. Additionally, you should demonstrate proficiency in reporting sales activity, the ability to multi-task and manage a geographically dispersed sales team and operate in a fast paced environment. You will collaborate with our Marketing, Operations, Finance and Member Experience teams to develop and manage sales and marketing programs, sales reporting, sales incentive programs and compensation planning in order to increase sales productivity. This position will report to the head of sales and/or head of marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Partnering with the Marketing department to define and implement sales programs, analyze and report on campaign performance with reporting and dashboards
  • Managing a regional sales team and running weekly sales calls
  • Developing the use of Zoho, with process improvement, measurement, tracking and analytics relevant to their functional areas
  • Tracking and analyzing key metrics including pipeline growth, win/loss rates, and quota attainment and develop systems to share our success
  • Owning the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for the sales team
  • Refining customer segmentation, assist with territory management, and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes
  • Managing and maintaining sales data in Zoho, and other software programs
  • Providing models and organizing statistical studies for the Sales department
  • Developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and OKRs
  • Managing the recruitment, hiring, onboarding process of new sales team members, and training, coaching and mentoring your direct reports
  • Serving as and perform the duties and functions of the sales lead in the Austin location
  • Overseeing the private office and virtual membership sales processes from prospecting to contract execution, including the preparation, negotiation and approval of membership contracts
  • Collaborating with the Member Experience and Sales teams to support all other revenue-generating products and services

    Requirements

    Requirements:
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years experience in B2B sales, business development, or commercial real estate
    • Experience in a closing role - new business or account growth
    • Ability to quickly learn and understand programs/platforms for day-to-day operations; working knowledge of Google Suites, Microsoft Office and CRM platforms (with Zoho and Office RnD knowledge being a plus).
    • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and crafting efficient processes
    • A result and success oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
    • An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
    • An innate drive to innovate and optimize the use of available resources
    • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
    • Ability to thrive and be resourceful in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with creative, technical, and analytical counterparts
    • Passion, enthusiasm, energy, humor, and the ability to convey this in person, as well as through virtual, phone and email communications
    • Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts
    • Proficient in multi-tasking
    • Based or willing to relocate to Austin, TX

      Supervisory Responsibilities:

      This position will serve as the supervisor for sales staff in certain territories.
