As the Vice President, Total Rewards & People Operations, you will be responsible for Abrigo's Total Rewards program, including compensation and benefits. You will consult and partner with, advise, negotiate, and execute initiatives on total rewards and programs. This role will also be responsible for HR Operations including payroll, HR systems, process, and analytics. This position is a leadership role managing a team and reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer. This position will be remote, or office based in Austin, TX or Raleigh, NC. What You'll Do: --

  • Develop and lead Abrigo's Total Rewards strategy leveraging compelling and equitable compensation and benefits programs that will attract and retain top talent.
  • Drive the strategic development, design, implementation, communication, maintenance and compliance of all compensation and benefit programs to align with the company's philosophy and business objectives.
  • Ensure the consistent application of our pay philosophy, align market cost competitiveness, and drive the pay for performance culture.
  • Analyze jobs, salaries, and incentives in order to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance of pay practices.
  • Plan, develop and/or participate in area and industry compensation surveys or special compensation studies, including market-based pricing, to ensure the company's competitive position within the marketplace.
  • Review and analyze findings, assess unique company needs and develop specific recommendations to management with respect to the compensation structure.
  • Partner with Finance and Accounting to ensure all compensation programs are properly accounted and forecasted for.
  • Educate leaders, managers and employees on the company's compensation and benefits philosophy.
  • Create and implement compensation and benefit strategies related to business growth (M&A, new markets, special initiatives).
  • Equip business leaders and HR with knowledge, skill and capability around core compensation and benefit plans and processes.
  • Assist executive leadership in the preparation of materials for relevant compensation committee and board approval.
  • Collaborate with the HRIS Team and IT to further identify technology and system enhancements that support a growing company.
  • Identify and implement applications/modules to enhance our analytics for decision-making and compliance.
  • Drive operational excellence and continued efficiency through system automation and process improvement. What You'll Need: --
    • 10 + years of experience leading Compensation and Benefits with 5+ years managing a compensation and/or benefits function.
    • Bachelor's degree preferred in business and/or analytical studies; Master's degree recommended. CCP recommended.
    • Heavy compensation and/or analytical background that shows proven success as a thoughtful compensation partner with thorough attention to detail
    • Tenacity to learn new things and think outside of the box
    • Ability to deal with quick change and to drive change management
    • Competency in understanding, interpreting, and communicating procedures, policies, information, ideas and instructions though strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Experience with various HRIS systems
