It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.SummaryThe Quality Control Manager reports to the Compliance Program Director and is responsible for the day-to-day management and performance of the Quality Control (QC) program including, population selection, stratification methodology, questionnaires, audits, reporting, communication and remediation efforts with the business units to ensure compliance with federal and state law, agency/GSE requirements, investor guidelines, client requirements and internal policies and procedures.Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, execution and maintenance of Celink's QC program, including sample populations, audit questionnaires, and test plans, utilizing the QC software application.Supervise a QC analysts and ensure the team is meeting the requirements of the QC program, including quality control testing, reporting deadlines, performance goals, and KPIsSample and identify populations of loans that require review, including preparing necessary data files for monthly testingConduct periodic file reviews, including targeted reviews of high-risk areas, or other reviews as identified by managementBuild and maintain strong working relationships with the business and vendors to reconcile issues, identify areas of weakness or high risk, and determine root cause of deficiencies to drive management action plans with the business units.Create, implement, and track through completion and validation of action plans to address defects and mitigate risksCreate robust and comprehensive reporting and trending analysis of findings and observations measuring performance of the business units and QC analystsEnsure professional communication of accurate and timely findings and observations to the business units, senior management, and clientsCommand of the reverse mortgage loan servicing process, including compliance requirements, with sufficient detail to effectively audit loan filesOther duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceBachelor of Business Administration or related field5+ years of QC experience in reverse mortgage servicing (preferred) or related financial services organizationKnowledge of federal and state laws impacting mortgage servicing, including TILA, ECOA, FCRA, RESPA, the Fair Housing Act, the Homeowners Protection Act, and predatory lending lawsCompetency in and understanding of investor and insurer requirements, including Fannie Mae and HUD (FHA)Experience with HERMIT, ReverseServ, ACES, Black Knight, SQL, or other programming languages plusSkills & AbilitiesHigh degree of professional ethics and integrityProven management experience to effectively lead staffOrganized and detail-orientedAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectively and efficientlyMust be a self-starter and perform duties with limited supervisionExcellent issue identification and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTeamwork oriented and able to work well with othersAbility to learn audit and other systems and applications quickly and retain necessary information for daily work processes
