The Bold team is looking for a talented Manager of Ecommerce Consulting to be the subject matter expert on Bold products for our enterprise clients and help them leverage these to the fullest extent. The person in this position is critical to our Enterprise Services Team, as they are responsible for making expert recommendations to our clients on strategies and tactics that will help them to achieve their ecommerce objectives. B2C and B2B ecommerce, Product Information Management (PIM), marketplaces, on-site search and mobile commerce experiences are just a few of the areas of expertise that the Manager of Ecommerce Consulting will advise on. What you'll do

  • Become a trusted advisor to leading brands through knowledge of their business and strategies and recommend Bold's products to add value and drive their success
  • Collaborate with client executives to turn high-level strategies into executable business and technology plans/roadmaps that are delivered across multiple phases both internally and externally
  • Participate in and facilitate strategic engagements and workshops to ensure the technology solution aligns with defined business goals and supports clients in the development required for a leading commerce experience
  • Correlate current client business practices to Bold's product/service capabilities or required features
  • Articulate the business impact of decisions and potential directions within client roadmaps
  • Be the voice of the client to Bold teams (Product, Delivery, Executive) to help ensure alignment of client objectives to Bold's approach
  • Creation of blogs, whitepapers, and other content around SME topics as part of thought leadership and to support Bold's marketing efforts--
  • Work with account teams to identify gaps in skill sets needed to support trends or areas where we are at a competitive disadvantage
  • Engage in sales pursuits and develop approach to identify opportunities
  • Coordinate with Solution Architects and other cross functional SME's during the development of the approach
  • Proactively monitor technical delivery to avoid misdirection or client satisfaction issues
  • Lead/facilitate/participate in client quarterly business reviews
  • Participate in the creation of Statements of Work and/or proposals for new opportunities including hour estimates for consulting
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
  • Ensure requirements have been properly documented to be handed off to the technical team What we're looking for
    • Genuine passion and excitement regarding ecommerce best practices, trends, and online tools
    • Experience with ecommerce consulting and demonstrated accomplishments in business strategy, financial/business modeling and analysis, online marketing and merchandising, ecommerce operations, and competitive analysis
    • At least 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solution Architect or Business Unit Director in an ecommerce or related environment
    • A work ethic that demonstrates dedication and commitment to Bold's mission and belief in our BUILDERS Code
    • Experience interpreting customer business needs and translating those needs into requirements
    • Ability to separate the "most-important" from the "somewhat important" tactics based on customer-specific situations
    • Ability to communicate with all levels of a company, internally and externally
    • Proven capabilities to work in a fast-paced environment both independently as well as within a goal-oriented project team
    • Demonstrated experience in a consulting or client-facing role
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver functional and technical solutions within constraints of time and budget
    • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, software engineering, marketing, or related fields Why work at Bold?
