Job Description:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing in a high volume, high variability art printing and framing facility. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to act strategically while also leading day-to-day operations. This role will be expected to meet continued growth and demand targets within the organization while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The Production Manager will work closely with the President and Directors of the organization to increase productivity and profitability. The ideal person will possess the skills and experience to operate in a somewhat ambiguous environment while moving the organization to a more data driven metrics-based environment. The ideal person will have demonstrated wins and transformation in past roles.IN THIS ROLE* Oversee a workforce of 50+ employees in a rapid paced manufacturing environment, including management of team leads, maintaining appropriate staffing levels, enforcing discipline and attendance policies* Plan and organize detailed daily production schedules, adjusting as necessary* Set and communicate ambitious production goals, motivate team members to achieve* Ensure quality control procedures and tracking programs are enforced in order to meet quality objectives* Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines* Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product integrity or employee safety * Partner with other departments including Product Development and Warehouse Management to ensure efficient collaboration and coordination* Uphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands Team* Other tasks as defined by ManagementDesired Skills* Strong Leadership and People Skills* Performance Management, metrics-based mindset* Project Management* Communication Proficiency* Problem Solving/Analysis* Detail Oriented* Results Oriented * Strong quality control standards THE IDEAL PERSON* 5+ years of experience as a key leader in a production environment* Experience leading day-to-day manufacturing operations * Bachelor's in Business Operations/Engineering or related field* Bilingual in Spanish/English strongly preferred * Experience in a medium-size company with high growth* Knowledge of manufacturing software systems (MRP/ERP)* Experience in the consumer goods, home furnishing, or art industry* Six Sigma trainingPowered by JazzHRAHtye9zL3I
