Bazaarvoice is looking for an extraordinarily talented individual to join our world-class Enterprise sales team. You must be the type of person that craves a challenge and is unafraid to constantly push yourself outside your zone of comfort. We are looking for a unique salesperson. You must be able to manage a multi-million dollar book of business, work in a pod structure where multiple other sellers are selling on your behalf, and be able to carry the entire sales and renewal process from start to finish on your own merit and skills. What you will be doing: Selling and renewing high-ROI SaaS solutions with the utmost poise and confidence. Demonstrating and defending the value proposition of Bazaarvoice products and services. Act as a true Account Manager overseeing almost all aspects of the client's business. Drive conversational discovery dialogue with customers in order to reveal underlying pain-points and understand their unique needs and requirements. Convincing client's Sales/Marketing/Social Media personnel and being able to talk shop with them. Operating as a true business owner. You will work in a team structure with Junior Sellers, Sellers that drive specific products for your business, Client Success Directors, Solutions Consultants, etc. Necessary Skills and Experience: 5+ years relative experience in software, SaaS, or Internet marketing. A background in selling into marketing departments up to CMO level would be a major advantage along with an understanding of social media and the impact it can have on business in today's world. If you don't have this background you will need to demonstrate that you can learn these ropes quickly & bring a perspective that can easily be adapted. Ability to identify target accounts, appropriate contacts within that account, and formulate strategies to convince client's to renew and expand services with Bazaarvoice. Ability to generate, qualify, and execute on opportunities in order to exceed revenue targets. Proven ability to articulate a vision that resonates with the customer and demonstrates value. Proven ability to build trust and long-term relationships with executive level stakeholders. A strong understanding of business practices, industry trends, and competitors in our space. Demonstrated passion and energy, both externally with the customers and internally with cross-functional teams. Ability to build and manage an effective pipeline and communicate proactively with leadership throughout each phase of the sales process. Effectively create and articulate ROI in the negotiation process to bring the upmost value to both our customers, the consumers they serve, and Bazaarvoice.The ideal candidate will be someone with an extremely strong record of achievement in a sales position within software as a service and/or other online based technologies.
