Job Description:

Business Development ManagerSummary of Position: --------------------------------------------------------------------Reporting to the Regional Sales Director or General Manager, the Business Development Manager is tasked with growing the sales opportunities of the company through new relationships and industry partners. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for maintaining the company's footprint and acquiring new advertising and marketing. This position will also contribute to digital and print media that highlights the company. --Duties & Responsibilties----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Promote company growth opportunities that maximize business development. Actively pursue new builders, architects, and designers to build relationships.Organize client recognition events and company advertising opportunities. Construct and disseminate a company newsletter on a quarterly basis.Communicate exceptional jobs to future clients through photos and client reviews.Travel to and attend Vendor training and local networking events. Conduct educational modules for industry partners----------Maintain memberships in several industry partner organizations (i.e. DBA). Manage advertising budget and subsequent ROI.Utilize and track vendor funds for business development.Partner with the sales team on areas of potential growth and follow-up on partnership leads. Assist in presentation development where requested for large opportunities.Attend Sales department meetings as required.Provide training and/or disseminate pertinent information to the Sales department.Fiscal responsibility for all assets & property assigned to BDM.Provide exceptional customer service to high-profile and highly demanding customers. Guardianship and preservation of client confidentiality and network/home security.Adherence to state and federal laws, including adherence to traffic lawsQualifications:3-5 Years business development experience in high-end residential construction industry or luxury goods.Previous experience with audio/video and residential electronic systems projects.Knowledge of the construction and design/build industry, including contract structures, trade coordination, and project managementDetail-oriented; excellent organization skillsPrevious experience with CRM systems.Excellent communication skills; persuasively present to clients and trade partnersAbility to self-direct, work remotely, and manage time effectively. Additional Requirements: CEDIA instructor qualification preferredFlexibility to meet customer demands outside of normal working hours May require standing or sitting for extended periods EducationCollege degree preferredSome technical training, construction experience, or advanced education preferredThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
