25649BR Business Unit TSU Job Description CDM Smiths Emergency and
Disaster Management Group is seeking a Disaster Recovery Team
Leader with expertise in Uniform Relocation Assistance and Matching
Funds and Resilience. The Disaster Recovery Team Lead leads team in
the oversight, planning, development and management of the housing
and economic development disaster recovery program at CDM Smith.
This is a nationwide opportunity. We are open to candidates working
remotely. This position will require frequent travel and may
require long term relocation to a program location.
Responsibilities: - Oversees, trains and leads program staff in
understanding and applying the regulations, policies and
procedures. - Assures deliverables are being met and projects are
progressing according to contract requirements and are compliant
with applicable regulations. - Follows application evaluative
procedures for recommended grant awards, and measure the progress
of the programs, including construction. - Provides guidance and
technical assistance to management and the client on policy and
procedures to implement the disaster programs in an effective and
efficient manner. - Provides progress update reports and analysis
to management. Work with management to formulate solutions to
issues within the program. - Communicates and meets with client,
applicants and grantees. - Aides in promoting the program by making
presentations and conducting and coordinating conferences, meetings
and other forums. - Participates in hiring process, employee
appraisals/ performance reviews and employee related matters. -
Assists with business development activities including client
meetings, proposal preparation, and professional organization
involvement. - Performs other duties as required. Job Title

Regular Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree. - 8 years of
related experience. 5 years CDBG or CDBG disaster recovery
experience required. 2 years of supervisory experience preferred. -
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency
of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and
the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending
