We have an exciting opportunity for a Country Manager based out of Austin, who is an absolute Rockstar, ready to take center stage. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, is passionate about technology and wants to make an impact in the world of education and learning environments. Reporting to the Australian based CEO, the Country Manager is 100% responsible for overseeing the company's operations in the US and Canada. This includes overall business operations, sales, marketing, finance plus recruitment and management of staff country wide. This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced, talented and driven CM to spearhead the US company and really make a difference. The role will work day-to-day with the US based sales and marketing teams to provide direction and support, with an ongoing focus on achieving the company's US growth objectives. The Country Manager will be responsible for increasing market penetration through new customer acquisition plus driving growth and retention through account management. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate strong communication, organizational and negotiation skills. You will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to work with little or no supervision and possess the ability to assemble, manage and teams. Presentation, analytical and planning skills are also essential. - Responsibilities: Lead the US business to establish Vivi as the market leader in classroom engagement solutions Provide direction on the business, operations, financial performance, customer experience and marketing functions. Recruit and manage staff across all functions, including performance monitoring, mentoring, and training. Maintain a working knowledge of Vivi, competitive product lines, differentiators and industry trends through self-education and Vivi's resources. Focus on retention of customers by establishing a consultative and trusted adviser relationship that focuses on growing Customer Lifetime Value for our clients. Communicate the needs of Vivi's customers, along with feedback to the relevant Product Managers, identify new business opportunities and capitalize on them Establish strategic partnerships to grow the business Own the Vivi business plan for the US Monitor the market conditions and formulate strategies in order to establish and grow the business and effectively implement those strategies via clear goals and objectives. Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and progress reports to company headquarters. Manage all operations within the region including taking responsibility for sales targets, revenue and profit Develop and maintain C-level relationships with the key accounts. Act as a liaison between the Head Office (Australia) and the Austin office. Participate and represent Vivi at trade events and other marketing initiatives. - Experience and Qualifications Minimum 6 years proven experience and demonstrated success in an impact-driven role directing the growth of a business, preferable with a high-growth, enterprise SaaS company Minimum 4 years of management experience, leading a team of enterprise sales and customer success executives Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with customers, especially at the executive level Multi-faceted and adaptable: you are able to handle high-level strategy planning without sacrificing day-to-day operations, and are not scared of getting your hands dirty Proven oral and written communication skills; you're known to be persuasive and inspirational Self-motivated and technically savvy, always in search for solutions and ideas to improve customer relationships Superior project and time management skills. And a keen eye for detail! Passion for testing, measuring and improving outreach and follow up effectiveness The ability and flexibility to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced start-up environment as well as high emotional intelligence -A university degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
