Senior Seller Account Manager Facilities Goods, JLL Marketplace

POSITION OVERVIEW:

JLL is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Senior Seller Account Manager in our Digital Business Line to develop and manage facilities goods seller relationships for our JLL Marketplace business. Sellers consist of large B2B products distributors and manufacturers that service the facilities management space. Categories of spend include, but are not limited to, MRO, construction, and office supplies. Primary areas of focus will be seller relationship management, program development and enablement, and strategic growth within your book of supplier partners. Developing seller strategies, leveraging JLL scale, building new seller relationships, identifying and bringing forward market innovations, supporting client solutioning and providing overall value to seller stakeholders in support of the business will be this position s mission. Contracting and directly managing suppliers in a category management function will also be required based on business needs.
This position entails working with various users and influencers across multiples levels of the organization, and the successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload. Position is virtual/home office; but Austin, Atlanta, or Chicago area is highly preferred.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities
Contribution to delivery of financial targets in line with business expectations. Position continuously drives assigned seller category strategies and self-sufficiently identifies and executes these projects.
Use market and industry intelligence to identify and qualify new suppliers and use data to support the business and delivery of services. In addition, identify risk, threats and provide solutions for mitigation.
Contribute to Seller Council with the intent of bring seller best practices, feedback, and innovations into the organization and out to clients
Accountable for creating strategic solutions for specific commodities, RFP/quotation management, bid analysis and recommendations
Provide functional leadership, mentoring of supply team members, and peer group alignment, where appropriate and needed
Liaison with internal stakeholders for contract approvals, savings reporting, documentation and compliance
Develops clear strategic supply partner framework and maintains this framework at senior supplier level
Prepare high quality papers and presentations for use with internal and external stakeholders and/or teams as required
Ability to negotiate and have proven strategies within areas of responsible spend
Partner with functional leads and the business to drive both immediate and sustained benefits to business and its clients
Bring strategic thought leadership to identify additional cost and operational efficiencies
Subject matter expert for seller management and main point of contact within business


QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in business or engineering - supply chain, purchasing, industrial sales or operations background strongly preferred.
Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, or combination of relevant work experience and education
A strong of B2B product procurement systems, retail, ecommerce, or industrial good distribution is preferred
Knowledge of emerging procurement technologies and marketplaces is a plus
Experience maintaining and executing on compliance programs
Technical buying or engineering experience directly involving the facilities management industry is a plus
Strong contracting, negotiation, and account management skills is a must
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to successfully communicate with clients and suppliers representatives, internal business customers and team members
Strong organizational and time management skills
Experience building, mentoring, coaching and managing teams
Able to adapt and prioritize meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility with work hours and travel as needed
Operates with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to stakeholders
Professional yet personable demeanor
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Demonstrated leadership, responsiveness, and accountability
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills
Able to maintain confidentiality, utilize judgment, and work with minimal supervision
Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
