Based in Austin, Texas, Brand Besties has cultivated a strong talent network across the U.S. to support any type of experiential marketing or promotional event. We aren't the typical, run-of-the-mill, event staffing agency either. We hand-pick our talent to work for our brands based on not only the decade of experience we have in the experiential marketing industry, but more importantly, - our vision for where the industry is moving towards . And we also take our relationship a step further, by offering professional development and coaching to our Brand Besties. About The Position - - Account Manager , Austin, TX Brand Besties is looking for an experienced Account Manager to serve as a direct client gateway to a portfolio of clients ranging from smaller to medium-sized marketing agencies to large, multi-national brands. This role is perfect for someone who loves a fast-paced, deadline-driven working environment, who knows how to manage deal flow and client relationships from their initial contact to becoming recurring clients. This is a people manager role, so the Account Manager role is part of the Project Team leading a team of Staffing Coordinators and setting the bar for quality standards within the company regarding productivity. A critical function of the Account Manager is their central role in logistics and operations. They must be adept at identifying potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources, and timelines within their team's clients' events, and able to take action when necessary to resolve any issues. Account Managers are occasionally responsible for staffing events when the need arises -- for example when very large orders come in, or for rushed orders, etc., but are mostly focused on ensuring project completion in accordance to the stated budget/s and growing profit across their client portfolio. The Account Manager will also work closely with Brand Besties' senior management team to prospect new business and grow pre-existing client accounts. Regular day-to-day tasks include the following: Processing of client staffing requests, scoping out pricing and sending proposals, and distributing orders across a team of Staffing Coordinators Maintaining quality assurance of client deliverables, e.g., staff contact sheets, staff presentation decks, and client invoices Professionally communicating with client contacts to ensure Staffing Coordinators receive all of the pertinent details required for successful event executions Tracking and monitoring Staffing Coordinator performance, and implementing accountability measures through coaching and mentoring Working cross-functionally with the management team to lead Brand Besties onward to continuous growth and success Requirements: Previous experience as an Account Manager in a marketing agency or PR/event planning firm or any other industry with high touch communication. Bachelor's degree not required but preferably in Marketing, Event Planning, or Business Management; Excellent communication skills in all media, such as on the phone, via email and text. Solid computer knowledge/experience, especially with SaaS-based collaboration suites, e.g., Google G Suite, SmartSheet, etc. and productivity software, e.g., Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc. Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy, attention to details, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
