Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing
Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of
experience in manufacturing. 5 years of experience in semiconductor
manufacturing, product, or as a test engineer. 5 years of
experience in supplier quality. Preferred qualifications: Master's
degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or
a related engineering field. 10 years of experience in
quality/reliability and semiconductor IC technology. Experience
setting up manufacturing assembly processes, driving product
launches and assembly process optimization within manufacturing
operations. Experience in technical leadership, project management,
and executive communication. Experience in data analysis in quality

As a Semiconductor Supplier Quality Engineer, you will join the
team responsible for setting and managing the quality and
reliability standards for our semiconductor components technology
across Google. You will contribute to improving the quality of
semiconductor components during New Product Introduction (NPI) as
well as maintaining it throughout the life-cycle. You'll track
component failures and drive root cause and corrective action with
suppliers. The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s

full-time position is $144,000-$209,000 bonus equity benefits. Our
salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within
the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and

Responsibilities Be responsible for and establish the quality and
reliability of components throughout the product/IC lifecycle and
qualification of components used in various Google platforms. Drive
and track component failures internally and drive root cause and
corrective action (RCCA) with suppliers. Manage return material
authorizations (RMA) and support spares reduction in Google
platforms. Work cross-functionally to define and ensure processes
are in place to provide the data required to manage quality and
reliability. Interface with suppliers on a regular basis to resolve
issues and drive return material authorizations (RMA), corrective
action requests, and failure analysis. Lead management of PCNs and
drive appropriate evaluation and qualification with engineering
teams.
