Training Team Lead Position Overview The Training Team Lead manages
the development and implementation of comprehensive technical
education programs for data center operations, ensuring staff
competency in critical infrastructure management, safety protocols,
and emerging technologies. This role drives training strategy to
support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and
workforce development across the data center portfolio. Key
Responsibilities Training Program Leadership Develop and oversee
enterprise-wide technical training curriculum covering power
systems, cooling infrastructure, fire suppression, building
automation systems, and network operations. Design competency
frameworks that align with industry certifications and internal
advancement pathways. Establish standardized training protocols
across multiple facility locations while accommodating
site-specific requirements. Technical Expertise and Content
Development Oversee creation of comprehensive training materials
for mission-critical systems including UPS operations, generator
maintenance, HVAC optimization, and electrical safety procedures.
Develop specialized programs for emerging technologies such as
liquid cooling, edge computing infrastructure, and energy
management systems. Maintain current knowledge of industry best
practices and regulatory requirements. Team Management and
Development Lead a team including a Program Manager and Training
Managers, providing guidance on curriculum development and delivery
methods. Establish performance metrics for training effectiveness
and learner outcomes. Mentor junior staff and support their
professional development in technical education and data center
operations. Operational Integration Partner with operations
management to identify training needs based on incident analysis,
equipment upgrades, and performance gaps. Coordinate with
facilities management, engineering, and safety teams to ensure
training aligns with operational procedures and compliance
requirements. Support new facility commissioning through
comprehensive staff onboarding programs. Compliance and Safety
Ensure all training programs align with OSHA requirements, industry
standards, and client specifications. Maintain detailed training
records for audit compliance and certification tracking. Required
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities
Management, or related technical field. Minimum 8-10 years
experience in data center operations with 5 years in training
leadership roles. Professional certifications such as Data Center
Certified Professional (DCCP), Certified Data Centre Management
Professional (CDCMP), or equivalent industry credentials. Strong
presentation and instructional design capabilities. Technical
Skills Deep understanding of critical data center infrastructure
including electrical distribution, mechanical systems, fire
suppression, and monitoring technologies. Experience with training
management systems and e-learning platforms. Proficiency in
developing technical documentation and standard operating
procedures. Leadership Competencies Proven ability to manage
cross-functional teams and drive organizational change through
education initiatives. Strong project management skills with
experience implementing large-scale training programs. Excellent
communication skills for engaging with technical staff, management,
and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree
in Engineering or Business Administration. Experience with
hyperscale or colocation data center environments. Background in
corporate training program development and adult learning
principles. Familiarity with data center industry standards
including TIA-942, Uptime Institute methodologies, and energy
efficiency frameworks. This position offers the opportunity to
shape technical competency across a growing data center portfolio
while advancing industry-leading training practices in
mission-critical infrastructure management. This position does not

the United States without sponsorship. Estimated compensation for
this position: 160,300.00 – 160,300.00 USD per year This range is
an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation
packages are determined by various considerations including but not
limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions,
