Job Description Job Description A client of AlphaStaffHCM is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team. This client is a rapidly growing Texas-based MEP engineering firm with multiple offices. Job Summary: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the electrical design and documentation of assigned projects for the electrical systems that power, support, and operate buildings. You'll also lead and collaborate with other electrical team members, with a focus on effective coordination across disciplines and delivering high-quality, fully integrated designs. Responsibilities: Lead the electrical design process for assigned facilities projects from concept through completion. Design power distribution, lighting, communication, and other building electrical systems for healthcare, education, and commercial facilities. Collaborate with mechanical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams to produce fully integrated designs. Oversee and mentor junior electrical engineering staff throughout design and documentation phases. Conduct internal reviews to verify accuracy and quality of project deliverables. Monitor project progress and coordinate with project managers to meet deadlines and budget requirements. Participate in client meetings and contribute technical expertise to project planning and development. Remain hands-on in Revit and AutoCAD to support active design work. Must Have Qualifications: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license with eligibility to transfer to Texas if currently licensed in another state. 10 years of electrical engineering experience Engineering experience in facilities building systems in healthcare, education, or commercial facilities. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD Experience with hands on design work Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering complex projects. Experience coordinating with multiple disciplines on integrated building system designs. Ability to work fully on-site in San Antonio, TX. Compensation and Perks: Competitive salary range of $100,000 to $180,000 based on experience. Half-day Fridays year-round. 401(k) plan with 3.5% company match.
