highly motivated, detail-oriented Microvellum Millwork Engineer to
join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible
for designing and engineering custom millwork projects using
Microvellum software. This position requires a strong understanding
of millwork, including wall paneling, casework, custom doors,
moldings, stone, and architectural metalwork. If you have a passion
for creating beautiful, high-quality millwork and enjoy working in
a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this is the perfect
opportunity for you.Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer custom millwork projects using Microvellum
software.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are
feasible and cost-effective.
- Generate production drawings and material lists for custom
millwork projects.
- Work closely with project managers and clients to understand
project specifications and requirements.
- Ensure all designs adhere to AWI standards and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the
design or production process.
- Continually update and improve design processes and techniques
to increase efficiency and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in
millwork design and engineering.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related
field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Production Engineer or Millwork
Engineer.
- Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD software.
- Strong understanding of millwork, including wall paneling,
casework, custom doors, moldings, stone, and architectural
metalwork.
- Familiarity with various finishing techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven
environment.
- Knowledge of AWI standards and guidelines.
- Passion for creating beautiful, high-quality millwork. If you
