  In this role you will provide application expertise to Ascendion's client's personnel and customers for the purpose of maintaining established sales activity and increasing new sales of their products within the Corporate guidelines. Customers are to be handled with a view toward growth and long-term relationships while maintaining a consistent and businesslike attitude.

  Requirements: -
  
  • 
    
  • 4+ years of Field Application Engineer experience -
    
  • Previous electronic, electro-mechanical product experience -
    
  • Previous PLC and industrial fieldbuses (DeviceNet,Profibus) experience -
    
  • Ability to read control wiring diagrams -
    
    
    Responsibilities: -
    
    • 
      
    • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting/repair of our electronic and electro/mechanical products to customers; on-site or in office -
      
    • Develop an understanding of the common applications in his or her area of responsibility -
      
    • Provide technical assistance over the phone -
      
    • Work independent and responsible on projects and other assigned tasks -
      
    • Be able to assess good judgment and making decisions on projects and other assigned tasks -
      
    • Assist in setting up and programming electronic controllers for customer -
      
    • Attend meetings, seminars, trade shows, conduct field service and assist customers with application expertise
