diabetes management plan, so we're committed to continuous
improvement in the way patients and professionals measure, track
and analyze glucose levels
As a Project Engineer, you will Manage all aspects of an
engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed
on time and within budget. You will provide the link between the
TPM (Third Party Manufacturing) and the ADC internal organization,
including R&D. You will be responsible for leading the
implementation of Process, Equipment and Material Change projects,
developing a close understanding of the manufacturing process and
interpreting the factors that affect product performance. In
addition, the incumbent will provide engineering investigation
capabilities for exceptional events and implement change in an
environment of continuous improvement, ensuring the site delivers
safe and effective biosensor products that meet customer needs
whilst maintaining compliance. This is an onsite opportunity in
Austin, TX.
What You'll Do: Project Engineer:
Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for
completing the project
Monitor progress and performance against the project plan.
Take action to resolved operational problems and minimize
delays.
Identify, develop, and gather the resources to complete the
project.
This may include preparing the engineering designs and work
specifications, developing project schedules, budget and forecasts,
and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external
contractors.
Liaise with other operational areas in the organization to ensure
specialized resources and contributions for the project.
Select and manage the activities of contractors to ensure they are
integrated into the project and the organization receives
satisfactory standards of service.
Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of
the project.
Set priorities, allocate task, and coordinate project staff to meet
project targets and milestones.
Required
Experience You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree ( - 16 years), Engineering, science or closely
related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and
work experience
Minimum 4 years of Industrial experience.
Exposure to manufacturing processes as it applies to
multi-component assembly operations.
Exposure to supplied material manufactured from external suppliers.
Experience troubleshooting such processes to find solutions related
to productivity, quality and product performance.
Exposure to Six Sigma Green Belt techniques with the DMAIC process
to find/implement root cause remediations.
Regulated industry experience to document all actions involving
changes to established processes.
