Job Description:
The Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of an organization's physical and virtual IT infrastructure. The Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with other IT professionals, such as network engineers, system administrators, and security teams, to ensure that the infrastructure meets the needs of the organization and is running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of the organization
  
• Maintain and monitor the existing infrastructure to ensure that it is functioning properly
  
• Work with other IT professionals to identify and resolve infrastructure issues
  
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect the infrastructure from cyber threats
  
• Ensure that all infrastructure components are up-to-date and patched
  
• Develop and maintain documentation for the infrastructure
  
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and testing
  
• Provide support for end-users as needed
  
• Monitor infrastructure performance and capacity and make recommendations for improvements
  
• Evaluate new infrastructure technologies and make recommendations for adoption
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
    
  • 3-5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field
    
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
    
  • Experience with network infrastructure such as switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
    
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
    
  • Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in an infrastructure environment
    
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as PowerShell or Ansible
    
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    
    Working Conditions:
    The Infrastructure Engineer typically works in an office environment, although some work may need to be done on-site at data centers or other locations. The work may require some evening or weekend work, particularly during infrastructure upgrades or maintenance of windows. The job may also require being on-call to address any infrastructure issues outside of regular business hours.
