Primary Responsibilities:
Full development cycle of a Data Warehouse, including requirements
gathering, design, implementation, and maintenance
Write SQL statements to profile and analyze data
Work concurrently on several projects, each with specific
instructions that may differ from project to project
Document, discuss and resolve business, data, and reporting issues
within the team, across functional teams, and with business
stakeholders
Present written and verbal data analysis findings, to both the
project team and business stakeholders
Monitor activities associated with responsible domains - job
monitoring, issue identification, documentation, analysis, and
resolution
Continually look for ways to eliminate/reduce, streamline, and
automate
Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure,
scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly
articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions,
issues and plans to technology leadership
Design and develop software applications and application components
in an agile environment
Work with geographically distributed teams, with ample opportunity
to learn from and mentor teammates in a fast-paced environment
Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will
increase team velocity
Collaborate on the design with other team members and product
owners, both inside and outside the scrum team
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure code developed meets or
exceeds coding best practices guidelines, unit testing, security,
and scalability and maintainability guidelines
Drive a quality mind set within the team
Flexibility to be on call and provide support as needed during on
call
Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential
issues
Work with sometimes ambiguous / conceptual requirements and guide
the technical team to provide functionality with the right amount
of engineering
Possess breadth of knowledge spanning all bodies of technologies,
(e.g. databases, middleware, OS, etc.)

Required Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of Data Analysis experience
5+ years of relational database experience
5+ years of complex SQL script writing experience using Microsoft
Technology (MS- Sql Server, SSISSRS,MS-Excel,T-SQL)
4+ years of experience in Software design, Architecture, and
programming
3+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum project management
methodology and Agile tools (e.g., Rally or Jira)
1+ years of expertise in automating build processes, application
deployments and continuous integration systems such as Jenkins,
Team City, Terraform, TFS, etc.
Working knowledge of different .Net Framework (C#.NET), IIS Web
Server
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of Healthcare Data Analysis experience
3+ years of SQL or Teradata experience
3+ years of UNIX /Perl/Python scripting experiences
3+ years of experience with ETL tool
3+ years of working on large data warehouse/big data projects
Healthcare Industry experience
Experience in an onshore/offshore model environment
Experience with Enterprise scheduling tools like Airflow, TWS
CI/CD experience
Snowflake
CA Agile Rally
Operations/production support
Knowledge of open source tools and technologies like Kafka,
Github

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only : The salary -range
for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary -range
for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is
based on several factors including but not limited to education,
work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary,
UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive

purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to
