Full time Engineering & Manufacturing Technician roles located in Austin, TX is available courtesy of Adecco.
These roles are 18 month contracts
**Candidates hired off resume!Must be open to working Sundays if needed
**CLEAN ROOM
ENGINEERING TECHNICIANPay Rate: $20.00-$24.00/HR (based on experience) *plus overtime! + shift differential
SHIFTS:1st: 6:00AM to 5:00PM2nd: 4:00PM to 3:00AM3rd: 6:30PM to 5:30AM
Responsibilities:

• Works from highly complex test procedures, electro/mechanical schematics, diagrams, written and/or verbal descriptions, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions.
• Performs complex mechanical, soldering, and repair tasks.
• Writes highly complex technical reports and test procedures.
• Performs complex operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
  Job SpecificationsHigh level of electrical / mechanical aptitude. Requires a thorough understanding of milestone management, source inspection procedure, FRACAS, shipping procedure, configuration change process, return to stock, material transaction request, discrepant material report process, and engineering specification waiver process.
  Skills and Abilities:
  • Requires strong skills in change management, problem solving, communication, customer orientation, personal effectiveness, team skills, and quality.
  • Requires use of hand tools and some power tools
  • Requires knowledge of systems and software necessary to perform job function such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Oracle Manufacturing Inquiry and View, and/or PDM.
    Education:Minimum Associate level degree in electronics technology OR equivalent OR Military Technical experience AND 3 years directly related experience

    MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN
    PAY RATE: $18.00 to $20.00/HR (based on experience)
    SHIFTS:1st: 6:00AM to 5:00PM2nd: 4:00PM to 3:00AM3rd: 6:30PM to 5:30AM
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: (clean room environment)
    • Performing high level electro-mechanical assembly
    • Working from test procedures, schematics, diagrams, written and/or verbal descriptions, and layouts to perform assembly and some testing functions
    • Determining methods or actions to remedy issues and malfunctions
    • Receiving general instructions on new assignments and following set processes, as well as improving upon processes to reach maximum efficiency
    • Monitoring and inspecting parts to ensure that the necessary parts are available and in working order to perform set tasks
    • Must be flexible with Shift ScheduleQUALIFICATIONS:
      • Technical AS degree in Engineering or related field, Military Equivalent, OR certifications
      • Other Degree and 3+ years of electro/mechanical assembly/technician experience OR 6+ years of electro/mechanical assembly/technician experience
      • Requires strong skills in problem solving, communication, team skills, and quality
      • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
      • Must be able to clear a drug screen and background check
