We're looking for someone with a passion for breaking things! We are seeking an intelligent, self-motivated and eager Quality Engineering Manager to help support our growing quality department. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a people manager who is dedicated to supporting the team members in achieving their career objectives while also implementing department processes designed to drive quality across engineering and product teams. Our team is passionate about working together to solve interesting problems with technical solutions--and having fun doing it. Collaboration is key to our success. Please note - all new hires must be able to relocate to Austin, Texas by the time of their start date. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• People manager focused on supporting career growth through inspiring, mentoring, and coaching
• Support team's and individual's goals
• Solve problems across your teams where appropriate
• Leverage and support your direct reports in Test Management
• Identify and track automation growth opportunities across your teams
• Analyze and develop solutions for complex testing challenges--
• Contribute and deliver on a strategy for building and growing the quality department
• Implement and monitor quality engineering processes
• Meet regularly with Engineering manager(s) and Product manager(s) for your teams REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years Quality Engineering
  • 2+ years prior people management experience
  • Experience creating detailed test strategies and test plans to support complex software systems
  • Resource management and allocation experience
  • Self-starter with past experience to initiate and drive continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to develop and grow test automation
  • Strong sense of ownership and pride in the quality of work
  • Great communication and collaboration skills EXPERIENCE THAT WILL IMPRESS THE HECK OUT OF US:
    • 4+ years experience people management in the Quality Engineering field
    • Prior experience advocating and influencing for automation first
    • Mastered understanding of Quality Engineering practices
