A trusted manufacturing solutions organization in Austin is searching for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Architect to join their team in North Austin.
About You: It is required that our Engineers be passionate and driven by the technologies they use. As a team, we pride ourselves on being able to enable cloud customers to build and deploy platform Infrastructure while also selling and developing hardware platforms for cloud users. This role requires a candidate to possess the proper skill set but also, that the candidate can be a good environment match with the current established team of engineers. About the System Architect Position: As a Senior System Architect, you will work in a collaborative team environment that encourages strategy and supports creation of technology and product competency. You will communicate with internal and external customers and recommend strategies and direction. It will be required that you build and maintain relationships with key customers. The ideal candidate will also have experience in coordinating technical engagements and being knowledgeable about technology and product capabilities when presenting to decision-makers. Skills and Experience:-- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering-- At least 9+ years of experience-- Mastery of X86 engineering or server architecture experience-- Experience with infrastructure paradigms-- Proficient Verbal and Written communication skills are necessary-- Experience with manufacturing techniques-- Problem Solver Mentality Salary: $130,000 - $140,000
